In this Center for Immigration article by Jon Feere, he describes how the dilemna of birthright citizenship can be solved by a simple "legislative fix" by Congress. As one digs deeper into the shenanigans of our government with regards to illegal aliens turning America into a free for all it becomes evident that simple "legislative fixes" are hidden from the public.Indeed, the government and special interests seem to project an insurmountable problem so large and fraught with Constitutional issues that they choose to do nothing and over time wear down the public. For example, by linking databases states hold on birth records or drivers liscenses with Federal Immigration records, illegal aliens could be blocked from settling in comfortably,gaining employment,obtaining drivers liscenses,etc. The acceptance of the matricula consular by any government agency as legitimate ID is a red flashing light for governmental complicity.  We have a duty to wise up to these games by the Federal government and echoed by state legislatures around the country.As parents,citizens, and Americans we must maintain the link between,past, present and future.Respect the blood of our warriors and preserve our nation for the next generation.
